Checks Managers Can Use

Correct Capture Time
Timemark uses network time. If the phone clock was changed, it detects the change and corrects the time shown on the photo.

Mock GPS Detection
On iPhone and Android, Timemark detects mock GPS. The photo address then reads "Virtual location detected".

Verify Photo Codes
A Photo Code links to original time, location and picture features stored by Timemark, unchanged by file or metadata edits. Check it free at verify.timemark.com.

Control Photo Sources
Set "Photo Source & Upload" to "Timemark capture only" once to block gallery, computer and other camera uploads for every member.
How to Require Crew Photos in Timemark
The team owner sets the capture rule once. Crew photos then collect in Teamspace by project, person and date for office review.
- Create a Teamspace on the Free plan and add a project for the job.
- Set "Photo Source & Upload" to "Timemark capture only" in Teamspace Settings under General.
- Invite crew members by email, link or SMS so their Timemark photos upload to the right project.
- Review photos as they arrive in the web portal, and check any doubtful photo at verify.timemark.com.

Common Uses for Work Photos
Use Timemark photos when managers need checkable time and location for work completed away from the office.
- Document subcontractor or crew progress at each job site.
- Compare before and after photos for cleaning jobs and property turnovers.
- Record proof of delivery with the time and location printed on the photo.
- Collect field attendance records by asking staff to clock in with a photo.

What Photo Authentication Cannot Prove
Authentication checks the Photo Code and stored details, but it cannot answer every question about a photo. Review these limits before setting your policy.
- It cannot prove the scene itself is real or rule out a staged photo.
- Photos without a Photo Code cannot be verified. The code may be turned off, cropped out or covered.
- Whether a court, insurer or agency accepts an authenticated photo is their decision.

Keep Crew Photos Organized in Teamspace
Invited members take photos in Timemark, and Teamspace uploads them to the right project for office review. Sort photos by project, person and date, then create PDF and Excel reports. Start on the Free plan, while teams relying on Teamspace for daily work need the Business plan.
